I joined this project just after "Should be" phase. Project includes 4 production plants in Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Poland and sales offices in 7 countries. We are implementing all logistic and financial modules. On February 2000 we finished template phase and three months later we had first successful go-live in Netherlands. At the moment we are just before start in Germany and till the end of this year we should finish Poland and Italy. I am responsible for financial part of project and also for integrated budgeting flow.
Go alive in Netherlands was very smooth. We have finished month end closing in four days and in relaxed atmosphere without any serious issue.
Main goals of our project is to establish common business procedures throughout all countries. In finance area is the main task to produce reports with detailed margin analysis at various level, Inter-company flows and analysis of production variances.
We are implementing fully integrated budgeting cycle in SAP. We have developed solution for so called "European logistic planning" which is White Cap using and also for all other logistic and accounting budgeting activities. This flow starts with budgeted sales quantities, sales prices and finish with margins budgeted on various levels.
I am also responsible for Upgrade from 4.0.B to 4.6.C in financial area.

Together with other 8 people I was working half year for support organisation at Team 121. We were servicing around 35 clients at various post-implementation stages. At the end of my assignment I was responsible for relationship with two clients.

I was responsible for configuration of controlling module and FI-Special Ledger as the company required the system to be used for two currencies and non-standard procedures for currency translations were necessary. To simplify the process I have introduced process with revenue bookings assigned to internal order. This was done via user exit and screen change in version 3.0. Today in release 4.6. is this available in the standard.
